IRIE JAMAICA CUISINE POLICY
Advance Notice:
We recommend placing your catering order request as early as possible. Every effort is made to accommodate our clients; however, advance notice ensures our ability to meticulously plan for your event. Any orders placed or changed for large events (15 or more guest), within seven (7) business days of your event will be subject to a $100.00 rush fee nonrefundable but valid for 365 days if you cancel your event. Small orders (1-14 guest) can be placed up to four (4) business day with no rush fee.

Order Minimums:
There is a minimum of 15 guests for any large catered event. Guarantee of Attendance: A final guaranteed guest count must be submitted five (5) business days prior to your event. This number cannot be reduced. We will do our best to accommodate any request to increase the guest count, however changes will be subject to additional charges. Within four (4) business days of the event, a 15% fee will be applied to the per person cost of each additional guest. Within two (2) business days of the event, a 25% fee will be applied to the per person cost of each additional guest.

Cancellation Fee:
Cancellations will be accepted before seven (7) business days prior to the event. Cancellations received after this time will be charged 25% of the proposal amount. Cancellations received less than three (3) business days prior to the event will be charged 100% of the proposal amount.

Service Time:
Standard menu pricing is based on a two (2) hour service time, not including set-up and breakdown. If you expect your mealtime will exceed the standard two (2) hours, please consult the Events & Catering Sales Manager to arrange for additional service time.
Leftovers:
If Irie Jamaica Cuisine staff stayed and serve for you, it is our duty to protect your health and prevent foodborne illness. The catering staff will remove all perishable food from the event upon the conclusion of meal service. Any non-perishable items (i.e. baked goods) may be taken at your discretion. IJC does not provide to-go containers for these items.
Place Settings:
For Large events staffed by ICJ team, standard china, flatware, and glassware is provided for the confirmed guest count. Any additional place settings needed beyond the confirmed guest count are subject to additional fees.
Unforeseen and/or Calamitous Event:
In the event that Irie Jamaica Cuisine buildings, property or facilities shall be destroyed or substantially damaged by fire or other casualty, or in the event that other circumstances render the fulfillment of this Agreement impractical or impossible, including but not limited to evolving pandemic policy or governmental orders, Irie Jamaica Cuisine shall be obligated to pay the fees herein above stipulated only for those services, activities, and events which shall have occurred prior to said casualty or circumstances.
